How I lost 4lbs with a 3-Day Refresh!

Let me tell you about my weekend.
Who here hates being sick?
*raises both hands*
Ok, so this weekend, that's right I was sick. Horrible cough. Yes, that is what I consider sick. It was dreadful. I'm still hacking up my lungs.
I got my Beachbody Challenge kit in the mail and was super excited on Thursday about it. So I started my 3-day refresh on Friday. Yes, even though I was sick.
I stuck to the plan for 2 whole days! And then guess what happened? I was too active that I got dizzy. Yep, that's me classic crazy kid running in circles with her kids.
Guess what? I actually didn't do a whole lot of exercising. Just normal activities with my babies.
So I cheated. I looked in my nutritional manual (not the three day refresh, but my clean eating guide) and picked airpopped popcorn. So I ate a little extra.
That was Saturday. Sunday I resumed my final day strong and felt a little off on my afternoon shake so later on I ended up having a healthy chicken breasted sandwich with mushrooms and bell peppers. I finished out the day strong afterwards.
I started this at 180lbs.
This morning I woke up and jumped on the scale thinking I had royally messed up and was expecting a gain.
No, it was a weight reduction! I started my day today at 176. I lost 4lbs in three days!! Can you believe it. And I cheated.
Do you know why I still lost weight even though I strayed twice from my three day plan?
clean eating - it never fails. if you are craving something chances are your body needs something. Learn to listen to your body.
portion control - always leave the day with a calorie deficiency for fat loss. Eat what you want just remember to eat a serving and chew thoroughly so your body can appreciate the nutrients you're fueling it with.
keep on moving - you don't relize it, but every little thing you do is helping your metabolism. Choose stairs over an elevator. Choose to park in the back of the parking lot. Choose to take the kids to the playground versus watching movies all day.
These are simple things you can easily apply to your everyday life to ensure the your health.
After I saw that number on my scale, I ran downstairs to my kitchen and made me a treat. Vegan Chocolate Shakeology WITH half a banana and organic almond milk instead of plain water. It was amazing!
I then ran around with the kiddos for about an hour. I drank some water and then started the first day of my first official challenge. CIZE!
